Boathouse · Shore-to-floating

Boathouse with shore-to-floating system

For situations where the structure is supported on the shore side and on the water side. Ideal if you have a quay or bank on one side, for example with neighbours who also have a boat.

No obligation, and tailored to your boat and mooring.

How the boathouse is supported

The boathouse with a shore-to-floating system is mounted on the shore side and on the water side. On the shore side, the boathouse has a rail and hinge system; on the water side, a float system.

This way, the system absorbs the effects of high and low water. It is made of aluminium, is suitable for fresh and salt water, and is matched to your boat and jetty.

Questions about your mooring

Which boathouse suits my mooring?

That depends on your boat and the layout of your mooring. A fully floating system is supported entirely by the water. A shore-to-floating system is supported by the shore and by floats. A shore-to-shore system has a quay or jetty on both sides. We will discuss with you which solution fits.

Can I combine a boathouse with a boat lift?

Yes. A boathouse with an integrated boat lift combines protection from above with taking your boat out of the water. The boathouse protects against weather and dirt; the lift limits long-term exposure to the water and helps reduce fouling.

What warranty do I get on my system?

DutchBoatHouse offers a 5-year warranty on boathouses and a 3-year warranty on boat lifts. With a combination, each part has its own warranty period. The warranty covers defects that are demonstrably the result of a material or manufacturing fault. Damage caused by, for example, incorrect use, collision, overloading, insufficient maintenance, modifications by third parties, an unsound base or bank revetment, or storms is not automatically covered. The exact warranty conditions are set out in our general terms and conditions.
